BladeMaster Assassin Class Skills
Rule the shadows as a Blademaster Assassin!
This Black Fridays comes forth a new Class, Blademaster Assassin! With devastating AoE and high critical strikes, loving to fight multiple enemies at once while able to assassinate one quickly and quietly. This Class IS GOING RARE so make sure you don’t miss out. Heya guys, it’s Sync. I like to thank Arklen for making this Class with me, also Dage for doing the very animations on the Class! Blademaster Assassin is a very bursty evasive type Class that excels in taking multiple targets at once and prefers it. Using your ninja arts to outplay your opponents with swordsman play and uncanny tactics. Even so, Blademaster Assassins prefer taking chances before consistency, putting their life on the line for better means.
This Class is an excellent farming and PvP Class. Farming with your massive AoE and high bursty damage allows you to take out multiple enemies down in seconds. Also with your high amount of evasion, you heal every time you perform a successful dodge to have a really nice sustain against a higher number of enemies. Properly timing your skills in PvP can drastically change the battle, negating deadly attacks from your opponent all the way to breaking through their defences and hindering their abilities to sustain against you!
Blademaster Assassin Skill Breakdown!
Mana Regeneration: Blademaster Assassins gain mana like most other evasive Classes, by doing damage and dodging. While you dodge, you regen HP as well. High amount of Dodge is the key to have high sustain and mana regeneration.
Stats: This Class is an Evasive, so they prefer on their secondary stats (Hit, Crit, Haste, and Evasion) more than anything else. Also focus on high Dexterity before Strength to be nimble but effective with precise attacks.
Auto Attack: Nukitsuke
1.75 second cooldown
A blade strike from the hilt, fast enough to hit before your opponent gets a chance to act.
This is your Blademaster auto attack, it hits harder than a Rogue model auto attack, but a bit slower. Hit less than your standard auto attack, but hits faster.
Rank 1: Iaijutsu
15 Mana, 8 Second Cooldown
Sheaths your sword waiting for the perfect moment to strike, slashing your opponent by surprise for a guaranteed Hit and Crit. Allows that strike a 50% chance to apply Spinning Dragon, negating their next attack to 0.
This is your most spammable ability. Lacking the damage compared to your other skills, this acts as an utility skill. Having a 100% chance to Hit and Crit allows it to always deliver. Spinning Dragon is where it receives a high skill cap. If timed, and if you activate you can successfully negate a heavy nuke or attack your opponent tosses at you.
Rank 2: Death’s Dance
Mana 22, 20 Second Cooldown
Performs a deadly stance, increasing your Dodge by 20% and Critical Strike Damage by 20% for 18 seconds. Also applies Do or Die, increasing your Damage Output by 20% however increasing your Damage Taken by 20% for the duration.
This is what makes or breaks the Class.You increase your Dodge and Critical Strike Damage by a massive amount as well as your Damage Output. As for a trade off, you will additional Damage Taken for the same amount. Hence the Do or Die.
Rank 3: Simple Solution
Mana 25, 10 Second Cooldown
Deals Moderately Strong Damage to the initial target and lesser damage to two other targets. Ignores all damage reducing effects in play. Applies Slicing Winds, reducing your target’s Crit Chance by 25% for 4 seconds.
This is my favorite skill on the Class, it’s simple and effective. Deals a good amount of damage to multiple targets that ignore Damage debuffing effects the opponent has on you. This works nicely in PvP and on some bosses to always break through their defences.
Rank 4: Kyushojutsu & Zanshin
Increases Crit Chance by 12% and Increases Hit Chance and Dodge by 10%
Kyushojutsu is the Art of Vital Points, gives more chance to Critically Strike so your Death’s Dance can be even more effective. Zanshin is the Art of Mental Awareness, always having a clear mind to make your reactions as sudden as possible
Rank 5: Umbral Shuriken
32 mana, 15 Second Cooldown
Releases a barrage of Shurikens dealing High Damage up to 6 targets around the user. Applies Hemorrhage, inflicting a gruesome DoT and Decay, Cannot Heal!, preventing them from healing for 6 seconds.
This is your Nuke but not just any typical one, it hits up to 6 people! As well as applying some helpful effects to cripple your opponents further. Poisoning them applying a deadly DoT while negating their healing to prevent any cures. Makes an excellent farming skill with it’s high AoE cap and pretty low cooldown allowing you to use this skill the moment it’s up.
Rank 10: Taihenjutsu
Increases Haste and Dexterity by 10%
Taihenjutsu means art of Body Moving allowing you to use your abilities faster, while increasing your Dexterity to Hit more, Crit more and Dodge more.
Enhancements
This Class thrives off of it’s Dexterity stat. The more you have, the more you’ll perform. Luck is also essential to increase Iaijutsu’s damage and overall Critical Strike Damage with Death's Dance.
Thief: The standard Enhancement for this class, focusing on your Dexterity stat is the right way to go increasing your Dodge, Hit, and Crit potential while giving you some Endurance stats and a bit on strength.
Luck: Luck will bring out the damage in the Class when you critically strike, dealing WAY more damage upon so. Also giving a solid balance of all the stats giving it some nice Evasion.
Overall Summary
In conclusion, this Class is a lot of fun. Giving it a nice skill cap in PvP to time your skills even though they are on pretty low cooldowns, to get past and/or negate their skills. As for the ability to attack multiple enemies at once it makes a wonderful farming Class dealing high amounts of damage while having solid sustain through Evasion. Wait to use Iaijutsu to have a solid chance to block off a strong attack or just to put out some quick damage. Be careful with Death’s Dance, you get a wide amount of stats from this skill but you’re a lot more squishy. Simple Solution allows the class to have some type of counter to other heavy damage reducing Classes with style. Umbral Shuriken is a massive attack always use this when it’s up to maximize your DPS. Follow these steps to master the Ninja Arts, and become a legendary Blademaster Assassin.

BladeMaster Assassin CLASS!
The BladeMaster Assassin CLASS, armor and select accessories will all be available for AdventureCoins in the Black Friday shop! Others will be available for members and a few for all players.
If you're a member of the Undead Legion, you can find a Legion Token version of the armor, a helm, three weapons, and a cape in the Undead Legion Merge shop, plus two exclusive Legion-only house statues (also for Legion Tokens).

WOW you guys LOVE this class! Due to the power and massive skill animations, we originally intended this class to be available for AdventureCoins. Since the class released, SO many of you Undead Legion members have written in, tweeted, and emailed asking for a Legion Token version that today Dage and I sat down and came up with a plan.
For his birthday in March of 2016, we are going to release a version of the Blademaster Assassin Class for Legion Tokens. The animations and skill values will be slightly different, but the class will still be a powerful heavy hitter. Dage will also change the art so that Legion Member will have a visibly different and exclusive version to call their own!
If you bought the AdventureCoin version in the Black Friday shop, your art, skills, and animation will not change - and it will remain different and distinct from the Legion Token version.

Happy Thanksgiving, Heroes!
Thank you for battling alongside us
2015 is FLYING by - it's hard to believe we've just released our 7th Thanksgiving event... and even harder to believe that December arrives next week! But it's the time of the year to remember how far we've come, and to be grateful to those who've gotten us here.
It's been a crazy year so far - Yorumi has been pushing hard on the server rewrite, and we've brought in additional coding help to give him the boost he needs to finish the last pieces of it. We've finished the first Queen of Monsters Saga in Embersea, then brought on more writers to help us take the story to deeper, darker, and more intense places. We had the Return of the Devs summer event, which saw Artix, Cysero, and Beleen come back to the AQW team for a few weeks to tell tales of their own, and we saw the internet evolving all around us as Flash and various browsers made changes that will affect how you play AQWorlds...
But through it all, we've had you guys battling alongside us as we tackled those issues and brainstormed ways to rise beyond them - like Artix's announcement about taking AQWorlds onto mobile in 2016.* I am genuinely grateful to all of you who join us each week as we bring you new releases, stories, gear, and more. Each week, we read your comments and feedback and take those back as we develop the next series of events.
As I sit here on vacation** in the frozen wilds of South Dakota, far from the Secret Underground Lab where I usually write Design Notes, I'm reminded of how much I appreciate what we get to do every week because of you guys: telling stories, building worlds, making peace and war and videogames.
So thank you, heroes. (Yes, you. With the armor on. Right there, reading this.) And a huge thank you to the volunteer artists, designers, testers, moderators, archknights, and other staff who work their computer processors down to the last byte bringing you epic gear to equip, awesome adventures, and friendly places to play/discuss them in.
Without all of you, there wouldn't be an Artix Entertainment. When we say we make our games with and for you, it's the truth.

Hihihi! Cemaros again. Just in case any of you forgot, I’m the AQW Lead Bug Hunter. Which means it’s my job to track down all the issues that annoy you the most and see what we can do about fixing them.
Your cache needs regular cleaning. SO dirty! Tsk. What would Grams say?
I’ve been tracing a rather annoying bug for several months. The one which refuses to give you items from quests you turn in. And after months of hair pulling, clawing, spitting and general mayhem, I have tracked it back to its source: it turns out to be a simple thing - it’s caused by a full cache.
How do you fix it? Clear Your Cache!

Infinity Knight to other Chronos
Heya guys it’s Sync. First off, I want to thank Arklen for helping me create this Class. He’s a cool guy and I had fun creating this Class with him. Now let's talk about Infinity Knight, this isn’t your traditional Chrono. This is a DoT based Chrono, first of it’s kind ever. I wanted to do something new. Your nuke is in a DoT based form instead of on hit damage. This Class has over triple the stacking capability than the other Chronos have. Meaning you can get more constant damage than the bursty Chronos. Infinity Knight focuses on raw DPS and consistency through your battles. With not a strong early fight, it scales incredibly hard in the later stacks to have one of the highest DPS and sustaining potential in the game.

Because they're volunteers, real-life has to come first; that means that occasionally, we lose some team members to outside responsibilities...but we ALSO get to bring on MORE new team members!

Sora here, for those who don't know me I'm Head of the Moderators for AQW/HS. I am looking for new mods for AQWorlds, and now is your chance to apply! One thing I have to stress - you MUST be over 18+. If you are under 18, if you don't include your age, or if you start with "I'm not 18 yet, but..." the application will not be considered.
Unlike last time where I was only looking for bilingual mods, anyone is happy to apply, assuming you meet the criteria.
We are ONLY looking for moderators, not testers this time.
We will need the following in an email:
1. Your real name, age, country of residence.
2. AQW Game account name and email
3. Artix Entertainment Master Account name and email (AE Portal Site link)
4. Forum account name and email (not required to have one)
5. Languages you speak
6. Any experience you have that you think makes you a good candidate and why you should be considered for the position.

But he won’t be alone…From the darkest corners of Lore, he's reached out to gather the dark residue left by the shadows of our universe's greatest villains... now the 13 Lords of Doom have been created - born of shadows and magic - to wreak havoc and destruction.
And they will stop at NOTHING until Battleon has been reduced to cinders! But fortunately... YOU will be there to make sure they don't succeed.* And you'll have help!
Work with Voltaire and Deady to gather the fragments of the Cursed Mirror of Enutrof to dispel the shadows that linger over Lore!

Voltaire is the maker of music, films, books, comics, toys and... mayhem. He has appeared in almost ALL of the AQWorlds Friday the 13th events... and has become a fan-favorite for our players (not to mention beloved by goths, trekkies, and music-lovers in general).
