Happy Black Friday! Our 2019 Dark Holiday daily drops continue tonight. Check out the holiday rares shop + collection chest in your game menu, then head into battle. Don't miss your chance to get our limited time event monster drops. Monday - Thursday's Dark Holiday daily drops are still available, but not for long! 

Black Friday Shop + Dark Holiday 2019 Collection Chest

The Dark Holiday Rares Shop is LIVE! Find all the 2019 seasonal and rare items in your game menu, or check out the Dark Holiday collection chest to unlock over 30,000 ACs worth of Black Friday and Cyber Monday gear for 10,000 ACs.

Item Update the...

• First: the Dark Blood / Shadow Hex / Dark Fiend of Nulgath accessories items are still in progress and will be coming as soon as possible.
• Second: the new Hollowborn items were added into the seasonal Black Friday Shop earlier tonight. The items were added into the Hollowborn Collection Chest yesterday. Enjoy!
• Third: If you have Tiers 1 or 2 of the Northlands Ranger upgrade pack, your free Black Friday item variants were added to your badge shop. Same goes for if you have Tiers 1 or 2 of the Voidcaster upgrade pack. Enjoy!
• Fourth: a quest for the free version of the Ultra OmniNight Class will be added this weekend if you have the original Ultra OmniKNight Class.
• Fifth: the Cyber Monday gear will be added to the Black Friday shop at 12:01 AM EST on Monday, December 2nd. If you have the Dark Holiday Collection Chest, you'll find 0 AC versions of all the rare gear in your chest shop.
• Sixth: Keep an eye out, because on Sunday, dual and single-wield versions of the Cyber (green) and Techno (blue) versions of the Hanzamune Katana will drop from a new monster. Color custom versions of the katanas will be added to the Black Friday shop on Monday.

A few important tips to remember:

• All of this year's event rare items are available individually from the Black Friday Shop in your game menu until the event leaves in December
• The Hollowborn Collection Chest is a seasonal item and will not be included in the Dark Holiday Collection Chest.
• The Ultra OmniNight CLASS and gear set are included in the collection chest, even though it is a seasonal item.
• If you have the original Ultra OmniKnight Class, you will be able to unlock a free version of the Dark Ultra OmniNight class, too!
• A 0 AC version of the Shadow OverFiend Blade of Nulgath will drop from the Juggernaut Items of Nulgath quest until his birthday event in January 2020. Happy questing!
• In order to prevent shop abuse, the Dark Holiday Collection Chest and Midnight Mochi pet cannot be sold.

Just want a couple of the event items? Apart from the exclusive pets, all of the gear contained inside the Dark Holiday 2019 Collection chest will also be available individually in the Black Friday shop.

And coming later tonight...

• The new Hollowborn items will be added to the Black Friday shop (the 0 AC versions have already been added to the Hollowborn chest)
• If you have the Northlands Ranger or VoidCaster upgrade packs, your free versions of the Black Friday variants will be added to your badge shop.
• The Shadow Fiend and Shadow Hex of Nulgath accessories are still in progress. They will be added as soon as the art is done and tested.

HollowBorn Collection Chest

The Hollowborn Evoker set, created for Black Friday by AQW Community artist, Yo Lae, is a Black Friday seasonal  collection chest. Unlock a TON of dark, deadly items for 5,000 AdventureCoins when you get the Hollowborn Chest pet (items available in the pet's shop).

The Hollowborn Collection includes:

• Hollowborn Collection chest pet (has shop for all the gear)
• Hollowborn Lightning pet (with quest for character page badge)

If you bought the Collection Chest last year, you can find all of this year's new items in your Hollowborn chest. (The Hollowborn Chest is seasonal, and will return every Black Friday.)

Our 2019 Harvest Fest Celebration Continues This Weekend

Every year for the Harvest Fest, Oishii the Troll Chef throws a HUGE feast. This year, Memet the Nightmare Moglin was contacted by an intergalactic race of adorably fuzzy creatures who wanted her help crafting a new type of meat. She'll be bringing her creation AND her new friends - the Furbles - to the Harvest Fest. In the spirit of friendship, they want to bring their own favorite dish to the feast, and they're going to need YOUR help to make it taste just right. Testing New Map/Monster Mechanic

Reens the Alchemist loves trying new combinations in her lab... but she also likes updating and testing out new ways to make building releases better. This week, she's coded up a new monster pad, so that (when she uses it) the monster you see depends on what part of the story/quest you're at.

This special pad won't always be used, but when we do, it will make things like creating wars and special story events (like the August Battle Concert) much more enjoyable, since you won't need to be separated from your friends as you progress through the event.

The Wicked Item of Donated Awesomeness is here! Each time you spin the Wheel of Doom, you'll get a Treasure Potion to spend in the Doom Merge Shop. Save up 1,000 and you'll be able to buy a Wicked Item of Donated Awesomeness. Each WIoDA will let you choose a rare or valuable item, and a member of the Support Team will add it to your account.

Wicked Item of Donated Awesomeness Details

• The WIoDA will be a Wheel of Doom merge shop exclusive. 
• Cost: 1,000 Treasure Potions. 
• The WIoDA token will no longer be left in your inventory.  
• With each prize awarded, it will be removed so you can obtain a new one.  And another new one. And another new one.
• The stack limit shows as x1.  
• At this time, the same rules as PIoDA will remain in place for what types of prizes you can ask for.  

While we do have even more plans for the Wheel of Doom and the IoDA tokens, those are a subject for another day.  (hint*hint*teaser)

* But since they are removed now with the placements of your prizes, you can get as many of them as you have Treasure Potions for.  You just have to redeem them one by one.

AQWorlds Patch Notes

Check the list of bug fixes to see what the team has addressed

Reens, Cemaros and the AQW Bug Hunter team are busy squashing the bugs you submit each week to the Bug Tracker at www.Artix.com/bugs.

Please do not send non-release bugs on Twitter.  They will get lost.  Make sure you send bug report forms!

Check back weekly to see if the bug you reported has been addressed.  Please remember that not all bugs are "easy fixes" so some reported and confirmed bugs from each week may not be on the fixed list as they will require more time or a different person to fix them.

Bug Fixes:

• Treasure Chest item description updated.
• Ghostly Chibifar0 Bank now opens when pet is clicked on.  The hitbox was misaligned.
• Corporate Cottage will now show owner name properly.
• Artist Alley blank room bug resolved. 

Art Fixes:

• CyberCaster Armor female coat has been stitched together.
• Paragon Tophat now has fully CC hair.
• Lord of Order 'Wrap' capes have been de-lagged as much as possible.
• Hollowborn Shadow Shaper's Shadow Minion was given a boost so it can see over your name.
• Abyssal Flame Pistol now has art on both versions.

Extras:

Space Daimyo has been retagged as Seasonal.  When the most beloved Palapuppy went to his new new playground, it was decided that all existing versions of him with his armour on would become Seasonal Rare.  Each year, you can obtain a new Daimyo pet on his birthday and put one of the armours on him!

Speaking of retagging things, some of you sharp eyed folks may notice some rarities changing on items in the recent past and near future.  This is not a bug!  This is a directly relating to a *hinthintwink* involving the Wheel of Doom.

Which leads us to the last bit.

Zohrah tells me a lot of folks trying to redeem IoDA tokens were having a hard time getting to the Lorepedia Page with the instructions on it.  Some time was spent attempting to bribe Swaggy and he has graciously agreed to tell players how to get to this page himself instead of that link on the tokens!

Artist Alley Showcase: 2019 Edition

You cannot make a game without art! And some of the most talented artists I have ever met make (or have made) gear for you in AdventureQuest Worlds. We wanted to recognize their talent by giving each of them a space in-game to craft gear that they felt most showed who they are as artists. Talk to Johnny Trax, the concert merch vendor, to see her merge shop full of all-new concert outfits and weapons! Save up the Arena Coins the monsters drop -- you'll use them to create Rock Tokens and Metal Badges (along with other event merge items) in her merge shop to create the Unchained Rockstar and Grunge Rocker classes! 

And after you've completed the event story, take on the Floating Coffin boss to get even more reward drops!

November Seasonal Set: Harvest Hunters

Available every year from November 1st - 30th

November is when the Fall season REALLY hits in the United States. Pumpkin Spice everything is in stores, the leaves have fallen (or are starting to) and the temperatures around the underground lab finally drop below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This is harvest time in the Northern Hemisphere, and Thanksgiving in the United States, Canada, China, Germany, Grenada, Japan, and Norfolk Island. To help ALL our heroes celebrate, this month's seasonal set features the Harvest Hunters - the HeroHunter and Lycan Stalker armors.

Is this the same as the monthly upgrade bonus? 

Monthly upgrade bonus gear is an extra reward for buying AdventureCoin or Membership packages. Seasonal set packs are bought separately. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior pack, you can buy the entire set directly, for one price, on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

This set will return EVERY November, so if you can't get it now, you'll have another chance in 2019, or 2020, or 2021, etc.

If this isn't the monthly upgrade bonus, what IS the bonus in November?

The next upgrade bonus will be available from November 2nd - 30th, and are the Apocalyptic DragonLord armors. 

What if I just want ONE of the items?

You're in luck! Talk to Garek in Battleon. He'll be selling the individual pieces of the set through November 30th.

After you purchase an account upgrade, select a bonus set of your choice from a list of options in your Account Manager.
