Mage
Neat robes. Uh.. neat.. Staff? Is it supposed to be a staff? Good, so you are a Mage. You’re new around here, right? It’s not every day someone makes an entrance the way you did. You’ve got some real magical talent, friend. But if you want to reach your full potential, you need to know more about your spells than how to cast them. The Mage is the quintessential magic user. They attack from a distance, able to cause great harm or restrict a target’s actions. If you did not choose the Mage class during character creation, you may purchase it at the Trainer’s Guild of Battleon from Arcana for 1000 gold.. Base Stats for levels 1 and (60)Strength: 1 (28) |

Auto Attack Dedication to your magic comes at a price. On top of your Strength stat suffering, the Mage’s auto attack is naturally 10% weaker. |

Ice Shard Recently, ice magic has come back into style. No, I’m not going to sing “Let It Go””. Frozen Blood cuts enemy damage by around 45% and lowers their haste as well. If your enemy is Scorched, this does 125% of the spell’s normal damage. |

Explosion So this spell is nowhere near as classic or stylish as the last two BUT WHO CARES YOU ARE EXPLODING YOUR ENEMIES WITH THEIR OWN MAGIC FROM THE INSIDE OUT! THAT IS SO COOL! This spell hits four enemies, your main target taking the most damage. |

Arcane Shield This skill costs a measly 5 mana to activate, but depending on just how hard you’re being hit, it can get more costly still. Depending on how hard you’re hit, some damage can still get through to you. I’ll explain it as best I can. It subtracts from the damage you would have taken instead of reducing it by any percent. You’ll never lose more than 8 mana per hit taken. Here’s a bright side: This skill does not actually reduce your outgoing damage! |

Chilled Out |
You’ve become adept at blasting enemies with spells because you blast enemies with spells often. You’re also taking a bit less damage from everything. Not sure why. Maybe your robe is so awesome that everything hits you more softly! They want it for themselves, so they take care not to damage it!
Mages have some versatile skills, but what they’re really good at is dealing out huge damage to one enemy at a time. You can farm with it, but I wouldn’t recommend using Explosion in a crowded room without other classes who can manage multiple enemies. Like any caster, it can wreck another hero’s day should you clash with someone. For any situation you put it in, Mage has a role, but you’ll find yourself ignoring certain skills to better fit that role. Keep on this path, and you may soon become a Sorcerer.
Recommended Allies!
As a Mage, you possess a somewhat diverse skillset. Unfortunately, this skillset does not include healing yourself or others. Sure, you can find a shop that sells healing potions or brew some yourself if you want, but you should seek a Healer! Later in your journey you may come across Paladins. These are talented heroes who have trained as both a Healer and Warrior. Healers and Paladins will keep you healthy and ready to throw more spells. A Warrior can stun enemies to keep them at bay but can’t heal. Your flexible skillset allows you to work well with many other classes. A Legendary Hero can boost your power while distracting an enemy, thus protecting you from harm entirely! Some boss enemies deal huge damage, but your Ice Shard can inflict Frozen Blood! If you can resist the need to throw out Fireballs, your Ice Shard plus a Necromancer’s Weaken skill can reduce a monster’s damage to laughably-tiny levels!
